Travis Witt
President & CEO
Travis drives Next Gen’s overall vision and strategic direction across its roofing, coatings, spray foam, and HVAC divisions. He oversees business strategy, sales operations, and team development, while leading key decisions around growth, hiring, and operational systems.
Closely involved in lead-generation strategy and technology implementation, Travis helps ensure the sales pipeline runs efficiently from a customer’s first contact through project completion. He is ultimately accountable for the company’s performance, culture, and long-term direction.
Bernadette Witt
Chief Financial Officer | Co-Owner
Bernadette co-founded Next Gen with Travis Witt in 2016 and has helped build the company from the ground up. Her career in construction began in 1992 and includes advancement to Vice President of Operations, with extensive experience in environmental and hazardous-material projects, regulatory compliance, and government contracting.
At Next Gen, Bernadette leads financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, payroll, accounts payable, licensing, bonding, insurance administration, and audit management. She also serves as Program Manager for third-party insurance programs, overseeing claim projects from initiation through completion. Her leadership supports the financial controls, compliance, and operational systems that allow Next Gen to grow with confidence.
Rusty Kube
Chief Operations Officer
Rusty oversees Next Gen’s day-to-day operations, helping ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. He leads field operations, production management, workforce development, and administrative functions while continually improving processes and accountability across the company.
Working closely with project managers, sales teams, office staff, and field crews, Rusty promotes seamless communication and consistent execution from the initial inspection through final completion. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement—and believes effective leadership means serving the team wherever needed.
Jake Engelking
Director of Sales & Business Development
Jake leads the development of Next Gen’s sales department, with a primary focus on lead generation and strategic marketing support. As Lead Generation & Territory Coordinator for the Viaskai partnership, he turns drone-captured roof intelligence into qualified, booked appointments for field representatives.
Working daily within Viaskai, Roofle, and the company CRM, Jake identifies, qualifies, contacts, and nurtures homeowners throughout assigned neighborhoods. His work creates the bridge between property data and a warm, well-prepared handoff to the sales team
Turner Witt
Operations & Business Development Manager | Coating Division Manager
TRI Certified | ARCA Certified | HAAG Inspector
Turner oversees daily field operations and sales for Next Gen’s coating division. He manages installation crews across spray foam, coating, and restoration systems, providing quality control, on-site training, and hands-on installation support when needed.
He leads new-construction bidding and manages awarded projects from the initial estimate through the final walkthrough. Turner also handles new lead follow-up, residential retail sales, and insurance claim management while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturer representatives.
In addition to field and sales leadership, Turner supports Next Gen’s technical infrastructure and digital presence, including IT needs, social media, and internet-based lead systems. He holds AHERA asbestos and OSHA lead supervisor credentials, bringing added technical knowledge and compliance awareness to every project.
